Nurse mates

I have been to the doctor 3 times in the past 15 days.  It appears I have a thyroid that's messing up.  My appetite shot up after Miss Joy passed.  I thought I was eating a lot because I was depressed.  Well I'm still doing that but I have lost 10 pounds since May.  So this is the reason for the picture.  A cute nurse (lets call her Deanna) took my blood.  Her shoes were white but closed on the back.  :)

Clearing my head.

Sorry for not putting up new material.  As you all know Miss Joy passed away last September.  I was put in charge of getting rid of her things how I saw fit.  As I went through her things I found alot of things that her niece in Georgia would have wanted that belonged to both Joy or her parents.  I had to make the money to get there and back and pay for 2 nights hotel and maybe some food.  I was able to make $360 after my expenses and we were able to take everything down there this past Tuesday.  So that part is done.  I still have more things to sell so what is left over I can split with my other roommate.

Now my main purpose for coming here is over:  I remember Joy telling me that I would be the one that would go through her things.  Not sure how she knew but that is what happened.  My home is in Texas, my family isn't very close to me except my mother and maybe brother and his kids.  So I took the week off to clear my head.  Not even drinking like I normally do.

Thank you to everyone that has left positive comments about the blog, my life or anything.  Haven't received anything negative - but those are appreciated so I can make this a better blog.  I am not sure where my life is going to take me but I hope I can get it figured out soon.  :)

Fuck my life!  My family had the nerve to 'email' me to tell my my grandmother died the day before today.  I been drinking all night - I'm sure I will wake up and think it was all a dream until I pull up that email again.  :(  I hope everyone has a better weekend than I did.

Friday the 13th!

Another Friday the 13th.  I had a bad one last year in May - the night my ex girlfriend flipped out and made some threats that I didn't give her the chance to carry out.  Other than that they have all been good.  BTW, I don't like brown shoes or suede.  Suede is like velour - hard to take care of.  My favorite blanket is a velour / cotton blend so it's not near as bad with the peeling.

Computer problems...

Oh the horrors of Windows Vista.  Somebody had given Miss Joy a computer with Winblows Vista Home Basic on it.  I was trying to get SP 1 on it...  No go.  I'm just gonna get pictures off it and make arrangements to get it back to whoever gave it to her.  That's what's been keeping me from making collages & working on that story the past week...  Curse you Bill Gates!
